Learn today how to prepare various equine dishes and live the great experience of pampering your friend.
As we all know, carrots are very nutritious and irresistible for our horses. In this sense, I have two delicious recipes for you to give your friend a sweet moment.
Horses are especially fans of apple, carrot, oatmeal and herbs.
Today we’ll teach you creative ways to give it your favorite flavors for your enjoyment.
Creativity and your love will multiply their love.
Dare to enter the kitchen and become your horse’s favorite chef.
Pay close attention to each of the recipes and enjoy a family moment.
There is nothing more fun than cooking as a family and more if the goal is for your horse’s palate to delight.
Let’s get to work!
Summer is approaching and with it the hottest season of the year, therefore, today we bring you this great recommendation.
Our first recipes are a fruit popsicle and carrot balls. Fruit popsicle is very easy to make as well as refreshing.
Surely your horses will love it.
Don’t let the heat get hot and your horses thirsty… Pamper them!
To prepare the first of two recipes, the carrot balls, you will need several ingredients, which will be described below:
Ready to cook? Here we go!
You can also add a little coconut to your liking
Once all the elements are assembled, let´s do it!
First we must preheat the oven to 176º and, in the meantime, mix all the ingredients in a large bowl, no matter where we start. Order does not alter the result!
The ingredients must be mixed well until a paste is a little sticky. When it is ready, we will proceed to make balls, we can shape them with our hands or, if we do not want to get too dirty, we can make them with two spoons.
In case you do not want to get dirty, wear gloves! The gloves help you maintain hygiene and you do not get dirty.
Once the balls are placed in the tray (do not forget the oven paper) we proceed to put them in the oven for 20 or 25 minutes, until they are golden brown.
When they are ready, take out the tray and let them cool, if they are a little soft, do not worry, next time they will come out better. Once cooled down, the moment of truth arrives, we have to give them to our four-legged culinary critics.
For this summer time when the heat is getting hotter and our horses want to stay fresh, I have the solution: A Fruit Popsickle. This is the best of recipes to summer time.
What is a Fruit Popsickle? It is like a fruit ice cream, cold, refreshing, ideal to give as a reward to our equines.
To prepare this delicious dessert you need fruits, molasses, water, a freezer and that’s it!
If you do not have molasses you can use Gatorade or another drink with electrolytes
To start cut the pieces of fruit into pieces by removing the bones and seeds. Once done, grab a glass with hot water and mix the molasses in it until it is well uniform.
Having already cut the fruit and having the mixture of water and molasses made in the glass, we take the container and throw the fruit and liquid and put it in the freezer until it cools down well (if you like, leave it a whole day).
The result is a block of very refreshing fruit that will undoubtedly make your horse feel flattered.
Horses love apples and filled with molasses even more…
To prepare them you will need the following.
Remove the center of the apples to make room for the filling.
In a large cup, mix the carrot with the bran, molasses, sweet feed and cob grains until uniform.
If necessary, add more molasses. The mixture should have a hard consistency.
Then fill the heartless apples with the mixture.
Garnish with the top of the carrot. Serve in the feeding bucket.
With these recipes you can reward your horse when he has a good performance or simply when you want to spoil him to encourage his good character.
Try it these recipes and tell us your experience.

Mint gives it a refreshing and herbal touch that your horses will love.

This recipe is for small amounts. If you want to prepare more quantity just multiply the ingredients.
With nothing else to add (except for mint) let’s start
For larger amounts, you can replace the mint leaves with a drop of peppermint oil.
Peppermint oil is more concentrated. We only recommend peppermint oil when you are going to make at least twice the amount of this recipe.
You can add some regular wheat flour if you don’t have whole wheat flour.
Whole wheat flour helps prevent equine colic.
You will get some spectacular cookies to reward the horse with a fresh touch.

Preparation mode:
Chop the carrots and garlic clove 3 sec. in speed 5.
