Coronavirus in the United States has been one of the worst crises in years. That’s why we’re going to talk about this pandemic in George Washington’s land now.

The situation was progressively worsening in China, while the other countries paid no attention. In February when the first cases occurred in Italy, even people were still normal.

During March, both Italy and Spain were complicated. These have been the most affected countries in Europe.

In America, however, one of the most affected countries is the United States. Brazil ranks first in the case of Latin America. However Ecuador and Peru have alarming figures of infected.

In this installment we’re going to focus on the Coronavirus in the United States.

Worldwide a total of 3,094,829 confirmed cases and 215,461 deaths. In the case of the United States a total of 1,004,908 confirmed cases and 57,812 deaths.

New York, the city that never sleeps, went to rest because of the coronavirus

Large cities are most affected by this deadly coronavirus pandemic. There are areas in the United States where the disease has been a huge public health problem.

New York City is the focus of this pandemic. According to statistics as of April 28, the following are: More than 292 thousand infected and 17.303 died. These are truly alarming figures. Therefore New York has become the central focus of coronavirus.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said:

“We’re still not in a good position on the contagion curve, but we’re not in the heyday of late March, when it started to go up”

Although the emergence of new cases is less than that of a month ago, this trend is not flattened. Therefore, this area of the United States will most likely have to remain in confinement. According to WHO, quarantine is the most effective measure to fight coronavirus.

Coronavirus in the United States: Projections target more than 70,000 people in the country

The numbers are usually very accurate, which means that you have to prepare for the worst-case scenario. Undoubtedly these figures alarm the population.

However, as a projection, the responsibility of citizens lies in complying with 100% prevention measures.

However, the global scenario is often very worrying. As the International Rescue Committee (IRC) estimates that at least one billion people around the world will be infected.

In addition, with an alarming global projection of 3.2 million deaths, it’s to worry about. It should be noted that this is the worst-case scenario if prevention measures are not taken.

For this reason it is of paramount importance to maintain confinement measures to flatten the contagion curve.

David Miliband, President and CEO of IRC, expresses the following:

“These numbers should serve as a wake-up call: the total, devastating and disproportionate weight of this pandemic has not yet been felt in the most fragile and war-torn countries.”

This is one of the concerns that are dormant, the behavior of this deadly disease in extremely vulnerable areas. For these countries do not have to address covid disease – 19.

Therefore, the call is to comply with compulsory social quarantines in the areas where it has been decreed. Also to follow the recommendations to prevent the spread of this disease.

Regions of the United States that have already reactivated their industries

Given the complex situation in the United States with the coronavirus pandemic, confinement measures should be taken.

However, there are already regions where the economy is gradually being activated.

Among the states that have been activated are the following: Alaska, Georgia, Oklahoma and South Carolina.

For its part, the rest of the country continues to see the most effective mechanisms for returning to normal. Of course it must be gradually, since the health of the population is paramount.

The biggest concern is that a vaccine is not yet ready and coronavirus disease is often highly contagious.

As a prevention measure, Dr. Rochelle Walensky, head of infectious diseases at Massachusetts General Hospital, said:

“We’ll all wear masks for some time,”

No doubt the world’s population must continue to maintain these measures for a long time.

Let us remember that prevention is everyone’s job.
