The true passion of Gustavo Mirabal

It is important to note that Gustavo Mirabal’s father, Mr. Gustavo Alfredo Mirabal Bustillo, was a former leader of the Acción Democrática party. He himself was former governor of Miranda state for the year 1985. It is commented that the equestrian passion of Gustavo (son) is hereditary, because his father was president of the National Racetrack Institute in the eighties. It was precisely his father who at nine years old took him to the stables to discover his true passion and what would mark the rest of his life.

Mirabal began to practice tirelessly and at 10 years old began to participate in amateur competitions which gave him the necessary practice to become one of the amateur riders with the best record. G & C Farm Vision

The property of Gustavo Mirabal and also of his wife María Carolina Mirabal, began his activities in 2009. His vision was to examine the riders in all the high level tournaments. As well as, in the final competitions of the World Cup, World Equestrian Games. Also qualify those who participate in the famous Olympic Games.

In this order of ideas, the facilities of the G & C Farm, had a jumping field, a treadmill for eight horses, an individual treadmill, six paddocks. They also had a laundry, a hay deposit (mowed and dried grass that is used as livestock feed). As well as a quarter of food and veterinary medicine and a two-room apartment for people who had for their job the care and maintenance of stables.

G & C Farm had representation in the best competitions in the United States, Canada, South America and Europe. Gustavo not only managed the farm, he was also a rider, having participated in competitions such as “Longines Athina Onassis Horse Show”, the “Longines Global Champions Tour 2017” in Madrid, where he won the inaugural trophy.

Riders featured in the G & C Farm

Throughout time, G & C Farm achieved a very good reputation in the world of equestrian sports. This organization worked with the Colombian Mark Bluman, as well as the Brazilians Nelson, Rodrigo and Helio Pessoa.

This farm was also a champion in the exhibition races. He developed the Venezuelan riders Luis Miguel Martinez, Gustavo Arroyo, Luis Fernando Larrazabal and Pablo Barrios. High Performance Equestrian Center (Centro del Alto Rendimiento Hípico) in Madrid

Together with Sergio Álvarez Moya, he developed the project of the High Performance Equestrian Center in Madrid. The center belongs to Sergio Álvarez Moya but has been developed to the highest international standards. This Center of High Performance was achieved thanks to the advice and leadership of Gustavo Mirabal.

It is said that Gustavo Mirabal is one of the most representative figures in the equestrian world both in the United States and in Spain. Together with his wife they have established a space with the best conditions for the practice and development of equestrian sport.
