Jewels of equine and equestrian cinematography
The first movie we are going to recommend is based on the story of Albert and his horse Joey.
A story that moves even the toughest because it is a sign of loyalty, friendship and struggle.
From afar, Albert sees the colt playing with his mother, but it is impossible to get closer.
As time goes by, he keeps trying and the horse is attracted to the apples that he brought him, but for some reason he did not finish approaching.
Later, in an auction held in the town, the horse is auctioned.
It just so happens that the buyer is none other than Albert’s father.
Once at home, Albert begins to train him for agricultural work and it does not work.
Effort and perseverance make Albert and Joey admired in their region.
After a good season at Albert’s house, the horse is sold to the army to go to war.
There begins the adventure of the horse and its owner to promote the meeting and the way back home.
Once in the militia the animal is subjected to all kinds of hard work, exhaustion and abuse, but it is still a strong horse that overcomes it.
The hostile situation makes Albert enlist with the aim of finding his horse.
This decision gives an interesting course to the story and makes the moment of the reunion more exciting.

This is an incredible story, directed by Joe Johnston and starring Viggo Mortensen, Zuleikha Robinson and Omar Sharif, whose original name is Hidalgo.
The story tells about an Arab leader who invites Frank T. Hopkins and his horse to participate in the three-thousand-mile race through the tremendous Arabian desert.
This is an unprecedented event, since this event was only reserved for national horses or horses of noble blood.
But Hopkings and his mixed-breed horse were special, since they participated in the Buffalo Bill show in the Wild West and had achieved numerous successes in long-distance races, and, logically, they accepted the challenge despite the fact that they had many impediments and a very unfavorable environment prepared for them.
Black Beauty
In a small English stable, an unusual horse is born, which is baptized as Black Beauty.
But, despite what it might seem at first, the majestic black horse was destined to have a comfortable, quiet and sedentary life.
This film narrates the life of this unique animal, which remembers all its experiences over two long decades.
Such as his birth in England, his happy childhood and his maturity, a moment in which everything changed and he had to go through different owners who did not exactly behave well with him.
Finally, fate was merciful to this beautiful horse and brought him full happiness.
How? You have to watch it to get rid of doubts.
