Short biography of Gustavo Mirabal Castro
Gustavo Mirabal Castro is one of the most renowned amateur riders in Venezuela, his native country, when it comes to equestrian jumping.
His first federative competition in Venezuela took place at Club La Lagunita, Miranda state, at the age of 10 years.
On podiums in Florida, Madrid, Belgium, Paris, London, Saint Tropez, Cannes and Monaco we heard our National Anthem: Gloria al Bravo Pueblo.
In 2009 he went from being a rider to a businessman after opening his farm G & C Farm.
“I built my G & C Farm brand, I hired a Venezuelan rider and I managed to take him from the 200th place in the world ranking to 22, in a time of 16 months, that’s history in Venezuela,” he said.
This athlete has managed to train various riders from Venezuela and other countries, which is why it has transcended in his career.
However, Gustavo Mirabal Castro withdrew from the competition in March 2018 to devote himself to his business as a lawyer and his family, but more importantly, he looks forward to returning to competition.
