To prepare the first of two recipes, the carrot balls, you will need several ingredients, which will be described below:

Ingredients

• 2 cups grated carrots (3 or 4 large carrots)
• 1/4 cup of molasses (we can also use honey)
• 2 tablespoons of oil
• A teaspoon of salt
• One Cups of flour
• 1 cup of oatmeal

You can also add a little coconut to your liking

Preparation mode

Once all the elements are assembled, let´s do it!

First we must preheat the oven to 176º and, in the meantime, mix all the ingredients in a large bowl, no matter where we start. Order does not alter the result!

• 2 apples, or 3-4 carrots (the amount of fruit should be about one cup, once grated). You can also use a little of each and mix it.
• 1 cup flour
• 1 cup oatmeal
• 1/4 cup molasses or honey
• 1 teaspoon sugar
• 1 spoon of water

Preparation mode:

1. Wash the carrots and apples first.
2. Next, with a grater, grate the apples and carrots.
3. In a large bowl pour the flour, oatmeal and water.
4. Mix it with your hand until a dough is made, and if it sticks a little place more flour.
5. Pour the carrots and grated apples into the dough and mix everything again.
6. Then pour the honey and mix everything with a spoon.
7. Let the dough sit in the fridge for a few minutes (it will be easier to handle).

This recipe is for small amounts. If you want to prepare more quantity just multiply the ingredients.

With nothing else to add (except for mint) let’s start

Ingredients

• 1 cup of flakeed oatmeal or oatmeal. You can choose the oatmeal that your horse usually eats.
• 1 cup wheat flour, preferably whole wheat
• 4 tablespoons molasses.
• 15 mint leaves. You can also choose to add sugar-free mint candies to replace mint leaves.
• 100ml of water or a quarter cup. If they are very dry you can add a little more water.

For larger amounts, you can replace the mint leaves with a drop of peppermint oil.

Peppermint oil is more concentrated. We only recommend peppermint oil when you are going to make at least twice the amount of this recipe.

Preparation mode:

1. Mix the water and oatmeal in a container
